  1. What are lab grown diamonds?
Lab-grown diamonds are diamonds created in a laboratory setting using advanced technological processes that mimic the natural diamond-growing environment. They have the same chemical composition, physical properties and optical characteristics as natural diamonds but are ethically and sustainably produced.
  2. How lab grown diamonds are made?
Lab-grown diamonds are created using two primary methods: High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) and Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD). In HPHT, carbon is subjected to high pressure and temperature, mimicking natural diamond formation. CVD involves introducing a carbon-containing gas into a chamber, where it breaks down and deposits diamond material onto a substrate. These processes result in the growth of diamond crystals, which are then cut and polished into gem-quality stones.China makes most HPHT rough diamonds while India makes all or most CVD raw diamonds.CVD's are mostly made in VS & VVS2 clarity. HPHT, China makes and dumps so price is good. HPHT at times can test as not a diamond (because it has some remnants of Nitrogen gas that doesn't get extracted fully) while CVD will never test as anything but a diamond even by cheap diamond testers.
  3. What is the price and budget of lab-grown diamonds compared to natural diamonds?
The price of lab-grown diamonds is generally lower compared to natural diamonds of similar quality. Lab-grown diamonds offer a more affordable option due to their controlled production process and avoidance of mining expenses.
  4. Are lab diamonds real?
Yes, lab diamonds are identical to earth mined diamonds. There is no difference between the two except to their origin. They are certified & graded by the same international agencies that certify Mined diamonds (IGI or GIA).
  5. How can I make out difference between a lab diamond and an earth mined diamond?
You cannot. 8 billion people in the world, NO ONE, not even superman can make out difference between lab and earth diamonds. Only machine testing can point that out. They are chemically & optically identical.
  6. Why are lab diamonds less priced?
Earth mined diamonds is a monopoly business run by 3 companies globally. Lab diamonds are not owned by anyone, thus the real value of a diamond is actually lab diamonds. Earth mined diamonds are artificially priced high.
  7. Do you give a certificate of authentication?
Yes, all are solitaire diamonds above 0.50 carats come with a unique IGI certificate. The certificate number is in-scripted on the diamond girdle with a laser.
  8. Are lab diamonds same as moissanite or cubic zirconia or American diamonds or Swarovksi?
No, lab diamonds are diamonds. Moissanites, Cubic zirconias or American stones or Swarovski are gemstones or glass. They ARE NOT DIAMONDS. They DO NOT COME WITH A CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICATION SINCE THEY ARE NOT A DIAMOND. A naked human eye CAN differentiate between a diamond an Moissanites, Cubic zirconias or American stones or Swarovski.A naked human eye CANNOT differentiate between an earth diamond and a lab diamond.
