Lifetime Buyback

 

At True Diamond, we believe that your jewellery should always have a cash realizable value.  Thus, we offer a lifetime buyback policy^- effortlessly and transparently.

Your buyback value of jewellery is calculated as follows:

Gold & Platinum: 100% value of metal weight at the prevailing metal rate*

Diamonds: 80% value of the prevailing diamond rate*

Gemstones, silver and other materials: no buyback value  

Making charges and all other charges: no buyback value

GST: no buyback value

*In case any discount was given during the original purchase, an equivalent amount will be deducted from the buyback value.

How to request for a buyback:

E-mail us at hi@truediamond.in with:

  • Your invoice number 
  • Photo & video of your jewellery
  • Diamond certificate
  • Preferred date of pickup
  • Address and contact number for pickup 
  • Bank account details for refund 

Once product condition is verified at this preliminary stage, we’ll confirm via email and arrange for a pickup. Please return the product in its original box along with all documents in a sturdy and opaque packaging. A standard shipping fee of INR 1,000 will apply to all buyback orders. Please note, that if you choose to ship your jewellery to our workshop through your preferred shipping method, True Diamond will not be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur during transit.

Once your jewellery reaches our workshop, we will conduct a thorough quality check. On completion of a thorough quality check, including diamond authentication using its Unique Identification Number (UIN), a refund note will be issued for the buyback value as calculated above. This refund value will be credited to your bank account in 10 working days from the date of the refund note. 

Products that are damaged, repaired, altered, or do not match the original UIN will not be eligible for this buyback policy. Your jewellery will be returned to you in the above cases. The Company’s decision regarding the quality check shall be final and binding on the customer. 

True Diamond  reserves the right to change the terms and conditions for specific customers. In such a situation, the customer will always be informed of the decision prior to the purchase.

^Not applicable for invoice value above INR 5,00,000.
