Lifetime Exchange

 

At True Diamond, we believe your jewellery should evolve with your journey. Our Lifetime Exchange policy gives you the freedom to upgrade or exchange your jewellery at any time - effortlessly and transparently.

The exchange value of your jewellery is calculated as follows:

Gold & Platinum: 100% value of metal weight at the prevailing metal rate*

Diamonds: 100% value of the prevailing diamond rate*

Gemstones, silver and other materials: no exchange value 

Making charges and all other charges: no exchange value

GST: no exchange value

* In case any discount was given during the original purchase, an equivalent amount will be deducted from the exchange value.

How to request for an exchange: 

Email us at hi@truediamond.in with:

  • Your invoice number 
  • Photo & video of your jewellery
  • Diamond certificate
  • Preferred date of pickup
  • Address and contact number for pickup 

Once we verify the product condition at this preliminary stage, we’ll confirm via email and arrange a pickup. Please return the product in its original box along with all documents in sturdy opaque packaging. A standard shipping fee of INR 1,000 will apply to all exchange orders. Please note that if you choose to ship your jewellery to our workshop through your preferred shipping method, True Diamond will not be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur during transit.

Once your jewellery reaches our workshop, we will conduct a thorough quality check. Upon completion of a thorough quality check, including diamond authentication using its Unique Identification Number (UIN), a credit note will be issued for the exchange value as calculated above. This credit can be used towards a new purchase within 90 days. 

Products that are damaged, repaired, altered, or do not match the original UIN will not be eligible for this exchange policy. Your jewellery will be returned to you in the above cases. The Company’s decision regarding the quality check shall be final and binding on the customer. 

True Diamond  reserves the right to change the terms and conditions for specific customers. In such a situation, the customer will always be informed of the decision prior to the purchase.
